A dress in Africa !

22 Dec

After my morning tour at the Markt to (finally) fetch my French-model, Cameroon-fabric, Ivory-Coast-couture, Asian-washed and Guinea-ironed dress, and a home made ‘gourmet’ lunch, I joined some friends at Les Pagaies pool (Utunde Beach) for an afternoon of sun and champagne. A few hours of roasting, talking fashion and city life with a newly arrived Parisian for a week visit-the-parents holiday, general gossip with a marin and his wife and a glass with the owners, and my day was over… I headed home to put my apron on and try not to put the kitchen on fire. So far there is no smoke in Bata city and the potatoes are roasting peacefully. An insignificant detail for man kind. A big one for the man who loves me.

Quiet day really… Yes… Hmm…Well, good night !
